How do you get points playing The Vix Game?
There are three ways to get onto the leaderboards playing The Vix Game. At the end of every game, there is a video which requires you to comment. Once you comment, your points will automatically be added into your total on the leaderboards. The second way is through twitter. On that same video, I will include a message in the description which you can copy/paste into your twitter. Once you have tweeted it, your points will also be automatically added into your total. The third is by favoriting a video in the series. You will need to submit that you have done this by using the "Fav Entry" link in the menu to the left.
Why haven't I gotten my points for commenting yet?
The leaderboards are updated periodically throughout the day. Every day at 8PM EST the leaderboards are automatically updated, so if you think you should have points that you haven't received, please send me an e-mail.
How many times can I favorite videos for points?
You can only receive points for favoriting a video once PER GAME. Therefore, although there are 10 videos in each game, it's only necessary to favorite one. When you go to the "Fav Entry" submission form, it will ask you which series you have favorited.
I favorited your video. Why didn't I get points?
Make sure you have completed the form located under "Fav Entry" in the menu to the left. You won't get points unless you do this. Also make sure you have chosen the correct edition of The Vix Game from the first drop down menu.
It keeps saying my favorites are private, but they aren't. Help!
If your favorites were private and you just made them public, it takes time for the YouTube system to update this. There is a period of lag before your videos will be recognized in the system as public, so try again later.
